Product Description

The brand-new Aerosus air-suspension strut replaces the original air-suspension strut of your Mercedes-Benz E-Class W211 and S211 built from 2002 till 2009, which are optionally fitted with Airmatic air suspension with ADS (Adaptive Damping System). The air-suspension strut is ready to install. The exchange is technically unproblematic and easy to accomplish.

All modules of the air suspension shock are high performance parts. They are brand new and made of high-quality materials. The requirements regarding functional reliability, service life and fitting tolerances correspond exactly to the OEM quality of the original part and are subject to the high test criteria. Our Aerosus air-suspension strut ensures safe carrying capacity and stability, as thousands of satisfied customers report to us with their enthusiastic letters. The excellent driving characteristics of your Mercedes-Benz are completely restored.

How Are Leaks in the Airmatic Air Suspension to Be Noticed?

A leak in the Airmatic air suspension is usually noticeable through the compressor for the level control. The compressor runs for too long. This is because it has to compensate for the loss of air. Further indications are: the vehicle lowers on the front axle overnight or it lowers unilaterally at the front. The crooked position of the front is easily visible. In this case, the air-spring bellow which is on the lowered side is probably leaking. If the compressor is no longer able to compensate for the loss of air, this can also lead to a bumping sound.

Causes of Malfunction of the Airmatic Air Suspension

Apart from a leak, the Airmatic air suspension can also suffer from other malfunctions, the causes of which are usually easy to identify and repair. For example, the system may remain in the hardest suspension mode or the level control may not work. Even a shock absorber may show defects, for example, if oil is leaking or the suspension properties are changed. The shock absorber loses oil when exposed to heavy wear. In addition, a malfunction of the W211/S211 E class with Airmatic may be diagnosed if the vehicle can't be lowered or the damping and the suspension are quite hard. If one of the following malfunctions occurs, it is advisable to check and, if necessary, replace components: the discharge valve on the compressor doesn't open, transverse and longitudinal acceleration sensors are faulty, the level sensors are defective, the solenoid valve on the air spring strut doesn't react or a cable break has occurred in one of the solenoid valves.

Aerosus Air Suspension Struts Offer You Many Advantages

Our ready-to-install Aerosus air-suspension strut for the air suspension system at OEM quality is combined with maximum ride comfort. The spare part, which you can purchase online from us at an affordable price, is absolutely equal to the original part -- also in terms of safety, longevity, quality and manufacturing tolerances. Expert checks of quality criteria are conducted in Germany on a regular basis. You benefit from the excellent service, including a two-year warranty, and we grant you a 30-day money-back guarantee beyond the statutory withdrawal period. In the case of a defective air-suspension strut, we recommend replacing both struts on one axle because they are subject to the same wear. If you decide to purchase both air springs, we will give you a 10% discount on a pair purchase.

As Aerosus, in order to provide you with a hassle-free installation and to avoid any compatibility issues, we highly recommend that you purchase our front air struts in pairs. Here's why:
1. Consistency in Performance: There are 3 pins at the inlet of the valve. The resistance values between pins for the original air springs in your Mercedes E-Class 211 and CLS-Class 219 models typically range from 2,5 to 12 ohms, depending on the sub-models. This may, however, demonstrate variations as the resistance of the material decreases with time. To ensure consistent performance and compatibility, it is essential that both front air struts installed on your vehicle have similar resistance values.
2. Error-Free Operation: Installing air springs with resistance values that differ by more than 0.5-1 ohms from each other could potentially trigger an error code on your vehicle's dashboard or OBD report. By purchasing and installing our front air struts in pairs, you can avoid this issue altogether, ensuring a smooth and error-free operation of your suspension system.
3. Enhanced Driving Experience: Optimal suspension performance is vital for a comfortable and safe driving experience. Installing front air struts with matching resistance values will help maintain the original ride quality, stability, and handling characteristics of your Mercedes E-Class 211 and CLS-Class 219.
